The former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah is of the unambiguous view that it was not the governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satya Pal Malik who’s dissolved the state assembly arbitrarily on his own discretion but on the direct orders of the PMO and the prime minister himself.

Extremely furious on the recent political developments in his state the former CM n the veteran NC leader said that the first and foremost action of the newly elected government should be to allegedly remove the governor of J n K and install in his place a peoples’ governor who would not do injustice with the people n the govt of Kashmir in the near future. Mr. Andullah expressed these views in his interview with the senior journalist Jyoti Malhotra from The Print posted in the social media. Strongly castigating the BJP and the RSS for spreading hatred and communal divide in the country since coming to power Abdullah said what has happened to the pre election promises of the prime minister Narendra Modi regarding two crores jobs to the youth of the country and deposition of Rs. 15 lakhs in the bank accout of every Indian after recovering black money stashed in foreign banks.

Blaming the successful central governments whether of Congress or BJP or any other conglomeration, Farooq Abdullah said that the people of Kashmir and the duly elected governments have always been the victims of these political dispensations and are still looked upon with suspicion today as pro Pakistanies. To substantiate his claim he referred to the recent statement of the BJP leader and general secretary Ram Madhav who’d accused the newly formed allaince of PDP, NC and the Congress while staking claim for a new govt in state as pro Pakistan n working on the dictates from across the border. Though the statement was retracted back layer on after lots of furore in the country. On the question of the recent agreement between India and Pakistan on Kartarpur corridor by Jyoti Malhotra of The Print Farooq Abdullah lauded the efforts of the Pakistan PM Imran Khan and said that a new chapter of friendship between both the countries is started onwards but explicitly appealed to him to uproot terrorism from the Pakistan soil as according to him till the time this evil of terror funding and sanctuaries are not eradicated or eliminated no initiative regarding strengthening or improvment of bilateral relations between both the nations could fructify. Castigating the BJP and its various offshoots of promoting hatred and communal division in the country to seek votes Abdullah asked if Ram or Alla want votes, then why and what for is the hatred being spread in the country ?

He unambigupusly said that his son and former J&K CM Omar Abdullah had warned the PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti while she was forming the government with BJP in the state but she did not gave any attention to his warning signals and today it’s one of the sufferers politically. He said whether it’s the Congress or the BJP, no national political party has gained in Jammu n Kashmir as the people of the state want the regional parties to rule in the state who can take due care of their overall
interests and welfare.

Answering the query over the faulty fax machine in the governor’s house Andullah said it’s all huge lies as the dissolution of the state assembly have been carried out on the dictates of the centre and the PM. On article 35 A of Jammu n Kashmir which is currently in the Apex court Abdullah blamed the government’s nominee in the court of allegedly misrepresenting the state’s case. He added that according to the act and the constitution in the context of Jammu n Kashmir the state assembly is supreme and should have been asked before the arbitrary dissolution of the house at the centre’s insistence via the state governor.

He also made it absolutely clear that India needs a movement to give up the process of nomination of the governors by the central govts in power at the centre as later on these nominees are misused as was the case in Kashmir.
