Congress president Rahul Gandhi criticized prime minister Narendra Modi for encouraging crony capitalism in the country and outrightly helping n encouraging ultra rich like Adanies and Ambanies thus benfitting them at the expense of public exchequer.

He blamed the Modi government of imposing Gabbar Singh Tax on small n medium enterpreneurs to the tune of 28% by executing the arbitrary GST compelling them to pay illegal gratification to officers knocking their doors.

He assured that the Congress party will ease complex tax norms n make them extremely SARAL ( convenient) to relieve them of the current tax burden related imbroglio, imposed on them by the cirrent NDA government.

Rahul also disclosed that the Congress govt will ensure through a special amendement that no farmer unable to repay the loans would be ever penalised or punished under the law.

Highly agressive and in attacking mode, Gandhi family scion Rahul said that the money collected from various insurance schemes of the poor and the econmically deprived sections of the society is being used to pamper the richest of the rich of the country.

The Congress chief was today addressing a mammoth public meeting at GNTI grounds in Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand in support of five Congress candidates viz. Manish Khanduri, Pritam Singh Rawat, Ambrish Kumar, Harish Rawat and Pradeep Tamta.

Srinagar comes under the jurisdiction of Pauri Garhwal, No. 2 constituency from where son of the sitting BJP MP and former union minister Major General B. C. Khanduri is contesting on Congress ticket.

In his half an hour eloquent address, with thousands of people n Congressmen listening him attentively under the scorching sun, Rahul Gandhi strongly castigated prime minister Narendra Modi of telling huge lies and giving tremendous reliefs to the ultra rich (capitalists n industrial houses) of the country at the expense of the poor n marginalised classes and misguiding the innocent people of the country through rhetorics.

Making mockery of prime minister Modi’s pre election promise and failing to deposit Rs 15 lakh in every Indian’s bank account, Rahul Gandhi said that on the contrary the Congress Party will put 72 thousand rupees in the bank account of 5 crore poor families every year, which comes to Rs. 3.6 lakhs in a span of five years.

In addition the Congress party government will also make provisions for a separate Kisan budget for the overall welfare and well being of the farmers of the country who are unfortunately committing suicides under the present anti people regime.

Amidst raising of slogans like Chowkidar Chor hai n Rahul Gandhi Zindabad, the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi accused prime minister Modi of arbitrarily n unconstitutionally interfering in the the affairs of judiciary, premier investigating agency CBI and being vindictive against his arch political rivals by getting false cases registered against them.

He referred the incidents of the press conference of the supreme court judges against the CJI and the unceremonious exit of the CBI chief and said that every democratic institution of the country is confronting challenges under the present regime.

Castigating the Modi government of openly committing corruption in the Rafale deal by benfitting Anil Ambani n his company Reliance Defence to the tune of 30000 crores by sidelining the government agency Hindustan Aeronautics limited and allotting the offset contract of Rafale Jetfighter to him, Gandhi said that the sole objective of the BJP government is to benefit Ambanies n Adanies at the cost of the poor people of the country.

He assured the electorates that the Congress government if comes to power will look after the socio economic n overall welfare and well being of the country and appealed to them to vote for the Congress party candidates contesting from five parliamentary constituencies of Uttarakhand viz Pauri, Tehri, Haridwar, Almora and Nainital. He assured the people that Congress party government will execute surgical strike in poverty prevailing in the country in order to improve the socio economic lot of the poor n marginalised sections of the society.

The Congress candidate – journalist n tech turned politician asked for the peoples’ support to strengthen the hands of Congress party which stands for scularism, unity n overall progress of the country.

He repeated – what he has been saying in every public meeting that the BJP leadership n prime minister Modi has unceremoniosly removed his father from the chairmanship of the Defence Committe of Parliament without any fault of his. He said this insult literally shocked him who was in tears.

He said: my father wept only twice in his whole life, one, when my sister Ritu was being send off after marriage n second: when he was unceremoniously ousted from the Parliament’s defence committe. This is the right time to avenge that disrespect n dishonour to my father. Vote for Congress – he requested to the surging crowd.
