Uttar Pradesh Police successfully rescues children, abductor killed

The saffron-clad chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath today heartily congratulated the Uttar Pradesh police team which rescued 23 children who were trapped in a house in Kasaria village of Farukkabad after a mentally ill criminal namely Subhash Batham held them hostage in a room at gunpoint under the guise of inviting them to his house in a birthday party.

After the 8-hour challenging operation, the police rescued safely, all the 23 children and killed the kidnapper who has a past criminal record and before has been a SAJAYAFTA history-sheeter. Suffering from acute psychosis and mentally ill, Subhash Batham gave the UP police and Farukkabad administration, its district magistrate and the senior police officials a hard challenge for incessant 8 hours.

The police could not act swiftly and forcibly as the lives of 23 children were in acute danger, held up in a room at the point of a gun. The miscreant, now dead along with his wife who has also been lynched by the furious and angered crowd of Kasaria village, suffered from mental illness say police sources who’d been firing from inside the room. He injured two policemen and an acquaintance as well who had approached him to pacify him by firing bullets at them.

Hundreds of curious onlookers, the parents, and relatives of the trapped children including the police officials had gathered outside the house in Kasaria village. The media was reporting the minute to minute development of the incident. There was nothing like some demand or ransom wish from the miscreant’s side who gave the police authorities immense tension for eight long hours. Even the commandoes from Delhi were specially flown to Kasaria village of Farukkabad to free the captured children.

But the UP police finally made it by killing the abductor whose wife was also killed by the furious mob. The Union Home minister Amit Shah has also expressed his happiness and lauded the efforts of the UP police team which rescued all the 23 children safely after best efforts during the 8 protracted hours. He said: It’s laudable that all the children who were held hostage in Farukkabad were freed through the efficient strategy and planning of the police. He also congratulated the chief minister Yogi Adityanath in this connection. The chief minister Yogi Adityanath who personally monitored the entire situation from Lucknow, 200 kilometers away from Farukkabad while heartily congratulating the UP police personnel involved in the operation announced a cash prize of Rs. 10 lakh for the team.

The Union Home minister Amit Shah has also expressed his happiness and lauded the efforts of the UP police team which rescued all the 23 children safely after best efforts of 8 protracted hours. He also congratulated the chief minister Yogi Adityanath on this connection.
