THOUSAND’S GIVE ADIEU TO GREAT LEADER AND FORMER PM ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE. PM MODI WALKS ALL THE WAY TO SAMADHI STHAL UNDER SCORCHING SUN

The prime minister Narendra Modi has made history today by marching on foot for several kilometres not caring for his personal security from the party headquarter at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg to the Samadhi Sthal, braving the scorching sun alongwith thousands of the followers of late stalwart Bharat Ratna and former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee behind the highly decorated Army Truck carrying the former late PM’s body draped in the prestigious national flag.

This is the first time, perhaps, before and after independence that a prime minister of the largest democracy of the world facing threat perception, marches on foot like a common worker alongwith thousands of the followers of the late leader across spectrum and party workers least worried about his security for about two hours uninterruptingly and unreluctantly.

Terming the late leader Vajpayee as his father figure from whom he learnt administrative abilities and organisational skills, prime minister Modi said that Vajpayeeji’s departing is the greatest personal loss for him.

Personally supervising all the last right arrangements and having arrived to the BJP party headquarter quite early Prime minister Narendra Modi’s gesture of marching on foot for several kilometres have compelled various union ministers, chief ministers, senior party leaders and high ups walk on foot leaving their cars away.

Those who marched with Narendra Modi were, the saffron party supremo Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh CM Shiv Raj Singh, union minister Smriti Irani, Vajpayeji’s fostered son Ranjan Bhattacharya, Defence minister Nirmala Sitaramant the entire cabinet including thousands of party workers andlate leader’s followers from all over the country.

The environment at the Padyatra was of extreme grief with arty workers raising sligans like JAB TAK SURAJ CHAAND RAHEGA, ATAL TERA NAAM RAHEGA, ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYE AMAR RAHE ETC. The last eternal journey of this great leader of billions which started at 1 in the afternoon reached the SAMADHI Sthal at 3.45 PM.

Prominent amongst those present at the venue were the Indian President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi, president of AFGHANISTHAN Hamid Karjai, Pakistan’s I & B Minister, King of Bhutan. Jimgme Namgyal, the foreign minister of Nepal, Bangladesh foreign minister Mr.Hassan, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, India External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, Home minister Rajnath Singh, law Miniser Shiv Shanker Prasad, former PM H. D. Deve Gowda, Kamal Hassan, former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath, Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Rawat, Union Minister Harsh Vardhan, Health Minister J. P.Nadda, Ram VilasPaswan, Raj Babbar, Anand Sharma, Ashok Gehlot, Congress president Rahul Gandhi , Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Deputy CM Sushil Modi, Delhi’s LG Anil Baijal, UP governor Ram Naik, various leaders of the oppositon and the entire cabinet including the senior BJP leaders.

The three services chiefs alongwith the national security advisor Ajit Doval were also present. Prior to the later prime minister’s funeral he was given the guard of honour and cannon salutes while the president of India and the prime minister laid floraltributes along with the SAARC dignitories. Slogans like Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Long live Atal Bihar Vajpayee rent the air through out.

After the laying of the wrath by all the foreign dignitories, the president , the Armymen finally handed over the national flag draped over the body ( cascade) of Vajpayeeji to his neice NIHARIKA, the late leaders immediate family member. Thereafter the body was taken out of the cascade by the Army personels inuniform in the presence of the late leaders family member and finally placed on the funeral pyre with the chanting of matras by the pundits present there. ATALji’s daughter lit the funeral pyre and all the VVIPs, VIP’s got up in reverence including the president and pm , the entire cabinet, all governors, the head of the SAARC countries, all leaders and workers across party lines.

It was a standing ovation to this towering legend of Indiawhose entirelife was dedicated in the service of the nation and humanity.
