The newly sworn chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, former union minister and a senior Congress leader 72 year old Kamal Nath has lived up to his leader Rahul Gandhi’s pre election promise and has immediately, after assuming the pivotal responsibility as the state CM waived off the loans up to Rs two lakh of each n every peasent of the state.

It may be recalled that the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has in his each n every public meeting of the state during the campaigning had assured the electorates of Madhya Pradesh that the loans of the farmers of the state would be remitted within ten days of the Congress party’s coming to power in the state and in case his party’s chief minister incumbent fails to do so he will immediately replace the CM with a new incumbent.

During election meetings such assurances by political leaders sound like rhetorics as it has usually been experienced that such promises by leaders of various political parties are usually not kept with and electorates betrayed, but the way Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath has fulfilled this promise just after the swearing in, he has proved that politicians are honest too n fulfill their pre election promises with conviction.

This unique action of Chief Minister Kamal Nath has elevated the image of the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and his government in the eyes of the general public of state as well as the country.

Now it’s the turn of the Congress party’s Ashok Gehlot n Baghel governments to follow suit as the Congress president Rahul Gandhi has committed the same thing in Rajasthan and Chattisgarh as well.

The second assurance was regarding generation of employment opportunities in all the three states. However, it still remains to be seen as to how will the Madhya Pradesh government generate funds to complement the fiscal deficit created by the remmittence of loan worth crores of Rupees. Latest Sources reveal that the loan waiver will cost the debt ridden state the additional burden of Rs. fifty thousand crores.

This timely fulfilment of the election pledge by Kamal Nath is a befitting response to the ridiculing statement of the outgoing chief minister Shiv Raj Singh Chouhan who made mockery of the Congress chief’s pre election pledge given to the farmers of the state.

In his press conference right after being defeated at the hustings outgoing MP CM Shiv Raj Singh in a humorous tone ridiculed Rahul Gandhi saying that let’s see how the new Congress CM fulfils the loan waiver assurances within ten days after the Congress party’s CM assumes office in Madhya Pradesh.

But the incumbent CM Kamalnath has by signing the order remitting loans of the state farmers to the tune of Rs. two lakhs has literally demoralised the BJP whose leaders were of the opinion that this is next to impossible.

Moreover, the way very little or literally nothing have been allegedly done in the context of generation of two crore jobs annually and deposition of Rs15 crores in the bank account of every Indian as promised by the prime minister Narendra Modi termed as rhetorics by Congress leaders, particularly Rahul Gandhi , this relief to thousands of farmers of Madhya Pradesh has indeed vindicated the Congress party’s stand and image in the eyes of the electorates of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh who made the Party win in these states after demolishing the BJP’s traditional 15 year old strongholds. Whats your take, friends?
