As the code of conduct is likely to be announced by the Election Commission of India in a few days from now, the Party in power at the centre led by prime minister Narendra Modi is busy inaugurating number of over ambitious developmental projects in almost all the states of the country with a hefty budget not even leaving Amethi parliamentary constituency, the traditional strong hold of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi where the prime minister Narendra Modi recently addressed a massive public meeting assuring the local populace of guaranteed employment n turning their bleak career into the enlightened future.

The Narendra Modi government actually wanted to leave no stone unturned to ensure that the scattered opposition mainly led by Congress party is doomed at all costs despite the fact that the report card of the BJP led NDA is already on the upper swing due to the recent air strikes on Pakistan’s Balakot JEM terror camps n subsequent killing of 250 to 300 terrorists n safely bringing back of wing commander Abhinandan from the ennemy country’s captivity in just two days, never ever happened earlier, so expeditiously.

The media of the country has now after a lull of few weeks, againt started giving its opinion on the forthcoming election results of the ensuing Lok Sabha polls.

Some news analysts are predicting 350 seats while the BJP supremo Amit Shah n his team predicts not less than 415 for the saffron party, reminding the readers of the historic majority of 450 seats won by Congress party under Rajiv Gandhi’s leadership after his mother’s the then PM Indira Gandhi’s most diabolical n tragic assasination in 1985.

The basic advantage with the BJP led NDA government under charismatic prime minister Narendra Modi is that while on the one hand he had already pleased the middle n lower middle class of the country by giving them exemption in annual income tax limit up to five lakhs in addition to various other populist measures like 6000 Rs payment in the peasents’ bank account compounded with 10% reservation in govt jobs n educational institutions for forward castes, inauguration of massive developmental projects etc, the recent avenge that Indian Armed Forces has taken by shooting down of Pak’s F 16 n killing good number of terrorists of JEM in Balakot has accorded Modi n his party an additional n confirmed emotional support guarantee pronouncing him( PM) as the most tough, capable and dynamic prime minister which the nation has not seen till date , next to the iron lady n former prime minister Indira Gandhi. The situation today is, you come out in the street n talk to hundred odd people , educated or illiterate, eighty out of of that lot of a hundred will praise him and gurantee, giving him the vote.

You post something against the action of the Indian armed forces or the government in the social media, you’ll acknowledge the results immediately receiving negative comments n brick bats.

The fact of the matter is that after the Pulwama attack martying our 45 CRPF jawans n officers and the sacrifices thereafter in various anti terror operations in Kashmir the socio political situation n temperament in the entire country has changed topsy turvy with an average citizen becoming nationalist with a single commitment to treat enemy Pakistan a deadliest of the lesson.

And sequel to this feeling each n every person even if he or she was against the government or the ruling party not to speak of Modi bhakts or the pro hindu supporters, majority of them has now turned in favour of the saffron party with the progressives’ n anti BJP ideologues mum n not able to air their opposition fearing reprisals.

The recent questioning by the Congress leaders like Dig Vijay Singh, Kapil Sibbal n Manish Tiwari etc about the failure of the India air strikes asking for proofs of those killed on the pakistan side in these bombings have been taken negatively not only by the general public but the majority of the news channels n their anchors as well, who are these days too fully coloured n influenced as anti Pakistan not ready to listen anybody questioning the government on this count.

If we deeply analyse the situation n the terrific all of a sudden change in the peoples’ mind set n attitudes, favouring the BJP led NDA government or BJP one can’t deny the fact that the media especially the electronics news channels, except a negligible few and social media has played an extremely vital role in giving the BJP excessive advantage thus diluting the negative factors of demonetisation, GST, unemployment , Rafale and the agrarian crisis that were earlier used against them by the Congress party n the anti BJP opposition.

The entire focus has now shifted to nationalism n the teaching of a befitting lesson to enemy Pakistan n action against those fuelling the pro Pakistani forces in India.

The speed with which Rahul Gandhi’s campaign against the ruling party BJP n prime minister Narendra Modi gained momentum with the Congress’s victory in the three hindi heartland states with the anti BJP opposition’s mahagathbandhan exercise also gaining momentum, it looks that all that progress has now been crushed, diluted or neutralised under the influence of India vs Pakistan imbroglio with every second or third Indian looking towards prime minister Narendra Modi with immense hope to teach the enemy nation a befitting hard hitting lesson.

The media of the country, especially the electronics channels are playing a major part in this exercise say analysts. However, the fact remains that in the safe n early return of wing commander Abhinandan as well, people are viewing it as a international diplomatic dexterity n triumph of prime minister Narendra Modi whose efforts have finally resulted in the US, Saudi Arabia, US, UK, Germany n EU inflicting diplomatic pressure on Pakistan n its PM Imram Khan surrender before India to release Abhinandan so fast n conveniently.

The former Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa and BJP supremo Amit Shah have also predicted about the party likely to be tremedously rather historically benefitted bringing about 22 parliamentary seats in Karnataka state n more than 400 in the forthcoming national elections due to the successful air strikes against Pakistan avenging the Pulwama massacare.

It’s interesting to note that after the success of the Kargil war in 1999 that killed 800 to 1200 Pak soldiers n officers with immense harm to Pakistan, Vajpayee’s party BJP could hardly get 182 seats as the electronics media was not that active or used to derive political mileage as of now say the opposition leaders.
