While on the one hand prime minister Narendra Modi has today inaugurated the War Memorial at India Gate with the cost of 165 crores giving tributes to over 25 thousand martyrs of the country, the PDP leader and the former chief minister of Jammu n Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti on the other hand is issuing warning to the government of India through a press conference at Srinagar cautioning the government that if it withdraws or plays with article 35 A of Jammu n Kashmir, she is afraid that the Kashmiries may give up the India national flag n go for some other flags obviously referring to the enemy nation.

Mehbooba warned : Don’t fiddle with 35 A n play with the emotions of the Kashmiries.

If it does so, those picking up Indian national flag today would not even give shoulder to it.Thos is a highly derogatory n anti national statement agaonst the Indian national flag.

She shamefully, catagorically cautioned the BJP led NDA government saying that she wants to make them aware of this hard fact today so that they don’t say tomorrow that I have not cautioned them earlier.

It sounds shocking n anguishing that when the entire nation is standing solidly n credibly behind the 45 Pulawama martyrs including several others dying in the line of duty and pledging to counter the enemy Pakistan n the terrorists , the PDP leader n former CM Mehbooba is busy issuing statements inimical to the integrity, unity n socio political stabilty of the country.

When the government withdrew the entire security of the Hurriyat leaders and subsequently arrested them who are considered to be the Pakistan’s proxies getting huge money from international sources for anti India propaganda n activities, she was the Mufti Mehbooba who came to their open rescue by issuing statements favouring them. She asked the Indian govt as to what right have they to arrest the Hurriyat leaders? She said: Failed to understand such an arbitrary move which will only precipitate matters in the matter. Under what legal grounds are their arrests justified? You can imprison a person but not his ideas she tweeted.

It may be recalled that the BJP and PDP had formed the government in the state earlier which was later on disintegrated. The Congress had then accused BJP of forming a pact with PDP terming it as opportunist and power hungry knowing very well that Mufti Mehbooba had been allegedly always soft towards the fundamentalists n militants. She was the one who as the chief minister of J&K had pressurised the union govt not to take action against the stone pelters in J&K who’d played havoc there.

Not only this but it is believed that it was on her insistence only that the order for prohibiting the civilian traffic movement during the movement of Army convoy on the national highway was revoked finally resulting in the Pulwama tragedy. Even the president of the National Panthers Party Professor Bhim Singh has said that the Indian Parliament should have the right to make necessary discussions and amendments in article 370 of the constitution.

The highly objectionable statement of PDP chief has created consternation in the political circles of the country with right wingers n the progressive fighting each other politically on television debates for n against the statement. However the hard fact is while our patriotic valiant soldiers are safeguarding our borders n fighting terrorits in strife torn Kashmir killing number of them n also sacrificing the precious lives in the line of duty the politicians of the country, are playing pure politics in view of the national election just two months ahead.

However, the fact of the matter is we as countrymen abiding to the Indian constitition should stand for the country first than anything else but should also be aware vigilantly about the poltical games n should not get swayed away easily.
