The controversial erring lawmaker of BJP from Khanpur, Haridwar, Uttarakhand whose video became viral in the social media and caught the headlines of the regional newspapers in Uttarakhand including the national dailies brandishing/ flashing three revolvers, two in both the hands and one in his mouth and using highly objectionable, unparliamentary and derogatory remarks against Uttarakhand and its people, has been expelled from the saffron party for the period of six months asking him to show cause as to why he should not be expelled from the party indefinitely for his highly derogatory remarks and misconduct.

As per the party sources, a show cause notice is issued before expelling anyone from the party for an indefinite period and it is in consonance with the BJP norms that he has first been issued a show cause with expulsion for three months to explain the reasons, before being finally expelled from the party.
Sources reveal that  Kunwar Pranav Champion was seen dancing on a Bollywood song consuming liquor and brandishing three revolvers in a video posted by him in social media using highly unethical remarks against Uttarakhand creating a furore and stir in the political and media circles of Uttarakhand and the country.
Sources say that Kunwar Pranav Champion has denied it as a fresh video and said that this is an old one when he was in the Congress party.
Meanwhile, a new but old video of Kunwar Champion is also taking the rounds in social media, in which he is enjoying a Mujra.
Several social and political organizations including Congress, Uttarakhand Kranti Dal, BJP MP Ajay Bhatt and the biggest social organisation of Uttarakhand in Delhi Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha has taken serious note of this unethical behaviour and arbitrary act of the BJP lawmaker and demanded his expulsion from the party including the legal penalisation for publicly brandishing pistols and using derogatory remarks against Uttarakhand.
The media in charge of BJP in Uttarakhand and senior journalist Devendra Bhasin has confirmed that erring BJP MLAs who have brought immense disrepute to the saffron party and Uttarakhand by his highly derogatory remarks have been expelled for an indefinite period with an expulsion cum show cause notice asking him to respond with ten days.
It may be recalled that several newspapers in Uttarakhand have quoted Devendra Bhasin, Media Incharge of Uttarakhand and carried out news of MLA from Khanpur Pranav Singh Champion’s permanent expulsion from BJP but the senior leader of the saffron party, Vice president BJP  and Uttarakhand incharge Shyam Jaju has outrightly denied the news as baseless saying that the erring MLA has been given ten days notice to respond and his expulsion is merely for three months thus putting at rest the news about the Khanpur, Haridwsr  lawmaker’s expulsion for indefinite period.
