The caste roits in several parts of the country leading to several deaths of innocents, injuries and myriad loss to public and private properties including the unaccounted tax payers money speaks of the fact that political parties are allegedly at play to devise maximumum political capital out of such developments, particularly when elections of various states and the nation are fastly approaching near. Whats sound immensely shocking and anguishing is the fact that instead of genuinely protesting and raising their collected voice on burning issues such as unemployment, skyrocketting price rise, safety and security of women and their subsequent socio economic and political empowerment across board and issues pertaining to farmers agony and acute corruption political parties seems to be more inclined and interested in exploiting the peoples’ sentiments on issues that are not only extremely harmful for the nation’s unity, integrity, communal n caste harmony and sovereignity thus creating incalculable harm to our already depleting fiscal economy.

This is not only highly uncalled for but also against the tenets of secularism, unity, integrity and principles of peaceful co existence. India comprises of about 200 million population of Dalits, backwards and the people of the downtrodden sections of the society who have been exploited to the hilt socially, politically, religiously, educationally and economically since ages and keeping in view the incessant exploitation of these classes and castes of the lowest ebb of the society our father of the constitution Dr. B. R. Ambedkar has made ample provisions for reservation in jobs in Indian Constitition which is still continuing even after 70 years of India gaining independence.

The Acts against the exploitation and undue harrassment and victimisation of SC/ST are also in force since decades that guarantees immediate arrest of anyone casting aspersions againat the persons of ST/SC community on caste lines. The dilution of this act by the apex court making its provision to arrest the the person or persons named in the complaint non mendatory subject to completion of a police inquiry has angered the people of these communities nationally who’d under the banner of BHIM SENA carrying playcards with the pictures of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar had allegedly gone on rampage leading to several killings and collosal loss to public and private properties all over India. States like Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi etc have been on rampage with several people killed and government and private properties razed to fires including blockade of trains in majority of the states.

Keeping in view the pan India unity of massive resistence and opposition of Bhim Sena volunteers and the anti dalit ramifications, the Narendra Modi led NDA government had taken a complete U Turn on the issue apprehensive of being completely sidelined in terms of getting Dalit vote bank which has saffronised during the previous state and national elections in favour of the BJP. The Law Minister of NDA government, Ravi Shankar Prasad has issued a strong statement emphasising and assuring the Dalits of the country that the BJP and the NDA is outrightly against the supreme court’s stand on dilution of the SC/ST act and that it is filing a PIL on this issue favouring pro Dali stand on the vexed issue. The Congress too, considered to be the dalit vote bank political party, traditionally, after BSP has also taken a strong position favoring the dalit community as its 60 Rajya Sabha MPs has written to the president of India demanding immediate termination of the services of the honourable chief justice of India, as per the news appearing in various dailies.

However, leaders like Mayawati and Mulayam Singh are mum on the issue allegedly fearing legal implications. It’s really shocking that the country these days is in the grip of communal and caste turmoils having in the recent past witnessed the massive roits of in various parts of Uttar Pradesh compounded with most shameful and dreaded lynchings in the name of cow vigilantism. Political analysts say that had these leaders representing caste politics of the country considered icons within their parties, travelled themselves in the riot hit states and appealed to the misguided people to maintain peace and harmony things would have vastly improved and peace established in riot torn areas but all in vain.

Its looks as if their respective political parties and interests are above than country’s unity, integrity and principle of casteless society. as of now, about 12 companies of Rapid action Force have been hurriedly dispatched to the riot torn states of the country in prder to bring the riotous situation, if any under control to enable maintenaince of peace and tranquility in the affected areas.

Meanwhile as perthe latest news feedback the Supreme court bench of two Justices, UU Lalit and A.K. Goel is hearing a reviw petition filed by the government to resolve this imbroglio.
