Books are wonderful in the way that they allow us to explore the world and beyond in the comfort of our homes or favorite park bench. They expand our horizons by weaving narratives that are both pensive yet beautiful.
But these storehouses of knowledge aren’t for everyone. While there are people who revel in stories and poetry, there are also people who can’t sit still reading for over 10 minutes and run away at even the sight of a book. Okay, that’s an exaggeration… but hey, as long as you get the idea!
So here we bring you a few books that you can read if you don’t really like reading but want to give it a try –

Though this series is considered young adult fiction, you can read it even if you are 50. The reason behind that it’s not only an easy-to-read cartoon with text style book but it’s also hilarious. Seriously you will die laughing at this story of an Eleven-Year Old’s daily life which, despite being from different time and space, would seem strangely relatable.

This is for those who absolutely can’t bear with fiction. This autobiography of India’s former and the most-loved President is the perfect read if you want to feel motivated and want to expand your horizons. The writing style is simple and the narrative easy to follow. Add to that the journey of a young boy from poor background achieving his dreams and becoming an integral part of India’s space mission when it was just getting ready to take off. This is a read you wouldn’t want to skip.

Okay, this recommendation is exclusively for girls of any age, who are struggling to find their places in the world or just have some questions. This book by Sneha Mehta provides a perspective about most of the ignored yet pressing issues that all girls face at some point in their lives. A must read even if you don’t like reading for the things discussed are important and the writing style is straightforward and easy to follow.

This collection of poetry and simple prose by Rupi Kaur is a book you wouldn’t want to miss on reading even if it is not your forte. It is that good… even now you can see the excerpts from this book going around on social media platforms like Instagram. It is that relatable and inspiring.
