The zodiac consists of 12 signs- Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Among these Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are known as the Air Signs. Though all the 12 signs of the zodiac show different traits, the element it is under also reflects its properties.

As such, people born under Air Signs have specific traits to them. The element of Air rules over the 3rd, 7th and 11th house of the chart, that is to say, even if you are not born under the above three signs, if you have a number of planets in these houses, you can still exhibit some traits limited to the Air Signs.
