FB launches amazing updates for WhatsApp and Messenger

Social Media Giant Facebook has launched a desktop updates for WhatsApp and Messenger apps for Windows 10 and added the latest voice calling as well as video calling feature update.

Facebook is trying to make Desktop versions of WhatsApp and Messenger similar to Android and iOS versions to give them a tough competition and bring more people on its Desktop site.

Earlier the users had to close the App of Messenger and WhatsApp if they want to use the Desktop version but now with this latest update they do not need to close the app can call friends on the Facebook and WhatsApp from Web browser with same functionality available in the app.

Users can now see a phone icon on the right hand side of the screen top and if the person tries to call, the button will become green and after that call can be connected by just tapping on this button but still this version is not robust like Android and iOS.

This is the first important update made by the FB app allowed its Windows 10 users to record and share live broadcasts from their desktop and tablets. Currently this feature has been upgraded for Windows 10 users and WhatsApp has also launched its new application for Windows which has made it much easier to use the Web on the Desktops. With this update WhatsApp users can now search chats and a button is also added for animated gifs also one more amazing feature is that now users can also search images. As of now it is an automatic update and currently in a beta release phase which means that only few users will get the updates before launching these updates available for all users.

In Messenger VoIP call has also been added which is a great addition by the Facebook as earlier in July the company said that 10% of all VoIP calls go through Messenger.
