First country to receive Kwid Electric will be China
The first country to receive the Kwid Electric will be China, where the electric vehicle is set to go on sale in 2019. After that, Renault could launch the car worldwide. India could be one of the target markets as the Government has been pushing for an earlier adoption of electric vehicles. It expected to be introduced in India some time early in the next decade.
Design and interiors
The electric version looks similar to the standard model. But the Renault K-ZE concept features subtle changes such as sleeker headlights, a bigger grille, gigantic wheels, revamped bumper with a prominent scuff plate and larger fog lamps.
Renault has not revealed the technical specifications yet but the manufacturer says the K-ZE is capable of being driven as much as 250 km on a single charge. It’s also equipped with a dual charging system that is compatible with domestic chargers as well as commercial charging points. The charging port is located on the front right fender of the car. Apart from getting a spacious and comfortable cabin, the K-ZE gets features such as rear parking sensors, rear-view camera and a central screen with connected navigation and services.

The Renault K-ZE concept has been designed to offer an electric mobility solution to the mass market with affordable prices. The highlight of the Renault EV will be its range, which Renault claims to be 155 miles (250 km) as per NEDC (New European Driving Cycle).
