Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna’s film gets a title!

Vijay Sethupathi, who is currently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited anthological thriller Super Deluxe directed by Aaranya Kaandam fame director Thiagarajan Kumararaja, has revealed the title of his next project with director Vijay Chander of Sketch fame in a recent interaction. The film has been titled ‘Sanga Tamizhan.’

The makers have now completed the first schedule in Hyderabad and will move onto other locations for the next leg of the shoot. Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj play the lead heroines in this film, marking their first collaboration with Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi. Soori provides comic relief in the film, which also marks Vijay Sethupathi’s first association with Vijay Chander, whose last movieSketch with Chiyaan Vikram failed to meet the expectations at the box-office.

Now, Vijay Sethupathi is busy promoting Super Deluxe, which is set for March 29th release worldwide. The film has great pre-release buzz among netizens and is expected to take a fantastic opening at the box-office based on the word-of-mouth from audiences.

Vijay Sethupathi is also in talks for an important role in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, which already has Jayam Ravi and Karthi as leads. The makers are trying to put together an extensive lead cast and Mani Ratnam is leaving no stone unturned to make the magnum-opus a money-spinning project for Tamil cinema. Lyca Productions is said to be bankrolling the project
