Chhichhore Actor Sushant Singh Rajput commits suicide!

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has reportedly committed suicide at his Bandra home in Mumbai.

He was found hanging in his apartment. Police have reached his home but the reason for suicide has not been revealed yet. The actor wasn’t feeling well for a few days. The police are going to investigate the matter.

Early reports by police say that he was suffering from depression for the past six months. His friends also told Aaj Tak that the reason behind this step is depression.

A 34-year-old actor was the character who beautifully dealt with battling suicide in his last movie ‘Chhichhore’. And then this happens…One can never know what people must be going through behind the brave front they put up in front of you?

Sushant’s death comes days after his ex-manager Disha Salian died by suicide. Rajput had tweeted his shock at the news on social media.

Expressing shock at his death, one of the first reactions, actor Riteish Deshmukh tweeted: “Shocked beyond words… Sushant Singh Rajput is no more… Deeply saddened.”

In the work front Sushant started his career with the TV serial Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and then to fame with Pavitra Rishta he ruled the hearts of the people for many years. His on-screen chemistry with actress Ankita Lokhnade was much appreciated by the viewers.

Sushant made his big-screen debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. He was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari directorial Chhichhore opposite to Shraddha Kapoor.

In many interviews from the years, Actor had always spoken of the loss of his mother as a huge blow to him. In fact, his last Instagram post was also a tribute to his late mother.

Sushant wrote, “Blurred past evaporating from teardrops / Unending dreams carving an arc of smile / And a fleeting life, / negotiating between the two… Ma.”
