Earlier the Supreme Court directed Shahabuddin to surrender himself to the police and also asked the Bihar Government to take further steps to take him into custody.

Recently he was granted bail by the Patna High Court in the murder case of Rajiv Roshanm son Chandrakeshwar Prasad who lives in Siwan and he is also the sole eye witness in the murder of his two younger brothers in Siwan. The RJD leader is under trial and convicted in the twin murder case.

So the Patna High Court gave bail orders by considering the fact that the trial in Roshan murder case could not be begin as he was jailed at Bhagalpur prison and that is why he was given bail.

The apex court asked the trial court to expedite the case and conclude the Rajiv murder case allegedly involving RJD leader Shahabuddin.

In this case Roshan, was the eyewitness to the twin killing case of his younger sibings, was also killed few days before his proposed testimony in the murder case of his brothers.

Shahabuddin’s bail was challenged in the Supreme Court by the family of the victim even the Bihar Government had also opposed his bail in the Court at that time the apex court issued a notice on 19th September while hearing the pleas against the bail.

But it does not matter whether he again goes to jail or not because he gets almost all kind of services inside that he would have got at his own home and looking forward for the final hearing of the case.
