While on the one hand, the Bhartiya Janata Party high command is busy handing over the urns of the late prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to its chief ministers and the presidents of various states to immerse them in the rivers of the respective states in order to mobilise people across the country, after organising mobilisation yatras thus propagating the great leaders, ideals, principles, noble works and his immeasurable contribution to the country , particularly in the party’s  favour in the four states likely to go to polls in December viz Rajastan, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh etc on the other hand two videos of the niece of the late prime minister and towering leader A. B. Vajpayee namely Karuna Shukla is going viral in social media viz facebook, whatsapp and twitter blaming and casting aspersions on the senior BJP leaders including the BJP supremo Amit Shah, the Chattisgarh CM Raman Singh and all the senior leaders saying that they have never remembered the late leader during the last nine years and not even visited him regularly in hospital when he was critically ill but after his sad demise are openly misusing his name and carrying his urns in every state to derive maximum political advantage in the likely to be held state elections in Rajasthan, MP and Chattisgarh etc.

This is absurd she said further accusing the BJP of always befooling people of the country on issues like Ram Temple, abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir and uniform civil code and now misusing her uncle’s name who was otherwise not remembered by them even for once during the last ten years.

In an interview to the Inn News channel, the niece of Vajpayee, Karuna Shukla openly condemned the Chattisgarh CM Raman Singh of not remembering Atal Bihari Vajpayee when he was ill and in political oblivion during the last decade but when the election of the state are nearing, Atal Bihari Vajpayee came to his memories and he is now naming several institutions and universities in the former’s name.

This is nothing but pure opportunism and open misuse of his name. She unambiguously said that while the PM and the BJP chief walked five kilometres to pay tributes to this great leader, these leaders should honestly and heartily imbibe his ideals, principles and ethics in their real lives than walking five kilometres.

She said : Atalji was not a leader of a party but he was beyond any confinement . He was truly the leaders of crores and crores of people across spectrum, nationally and internationally and misusing his name for elections by BJP is highly uncalled for, undemocratic and condemnable.

In a second video that appeared in whatsapp Karuna Shukla even went to the extent of saying that the BJP and its government which has not remembered the former prime minister during a decade and not started a single project or programme in his name, all of a sudden announced several schemes in the name of the late leader from the ramparts ofRed Fort on 15th August because Modiji visited the hospital( AIIMS) on 14th and finding his condition extremely critical did so the next day while addressing the nation.

Extremely furious and annoyed Karuna Shukla sounded extremely disturbed while speaking on the vedio casting aspersions on the saffron party and its leaders for misusing her uncle’s name. In the meanwhile in the picture above two cabinet ministers in the Chattisgarh CM Ram Singh’s cabinett are openly laughing in the condolence meeting of the former PM after reciving his urn to be immersed or dispersed in the state river. Looks shocking ?What’s your opinion friends?
