Young, brave DSP of J n K police succumbs to terrorists bullet. Two militants killed.

The country has lost yet another brave fighter and a valiant Jammu n Kashmir police officer in an operation to flush out terrorists in Kashmir. Young, brave n a relentless fighter deputy Suprintendent of police of Jammu & Kadhmir, Aman Thakur was Martyred on Sunday, the 24th February, while leading an anti terror operation in which two dreaded terrorits have been killed.

According to news pouring in from various sources the operation was carried out in Turigram area of Kulgaon on the tip off received from the reliable intelligence sources regarding the terrorists holed up in a house at Tirigram. Sadly one more jawan was killed in the operation.

According to the latest news after the intelligence input when the police party led by Deputy Suprintendent of Police Aman Thakur was engaged in firing on the terrorists holed up in a Kulgaon house he was hit by one of the terrorist’s bullet in the neck in the cross fire finally succumbing to the injuries while being carried to the Army hospital.

The operation which continued for several hours even till 7 in the evening proved succesful after two terrorists were gunned down in the operation but at the cost of two precious lives.

As per the TOI flash according to the Director General of the of J n K police Dilbagh Singh, Deputy SP of the state police Aman Thakur was a bright, brave and an upright officer who had carried out various anti terror operations during the last two years and was also honoured with the DG’s commendation certificates n medals for his outstanding n exemplary services in fighting terrorists and successfully carrying out terror operations in Kulgaon area of Pulwama, South Kashmir.

The Sunday operation was led by Thakur himself n it was a bad day for hard lucked brave young DSP who sacrificed his precious life in the line of duty in an operation that killed two terrorists as well.

South Kashmir is known to be a terrorist infested area where the Indian Army n JK Police has lost brave young officers n troopers like Major Vibhuti Dhaundiyal, DSP Aman Thakur n five other Army troopers with immense valour and patriotism including 40 CRPF troopers in Pulwama district in the last one week creating a widespread national outrage.

The entire nation of 130 crores, our Army, all three forces and our government stands firmly with them n their traumatic families in this hour of grave crisis with a unified pledge to teach these anti nationals n Pakistan a befitting lesson in the days to come. Jai Hind.
