After the United Nations Organisation (UNO) declared Jaish – e – Mohammed chief and Pakistan sponsored hard core terrorist Azar Masood a week or two ago as global terrorist by including him in the UN’s terror list , Pakistan’s Tehrike Insaaf Party government led by cricketer turned prime minister Imran Khan had no option but to give up its earlier false and fake posture of claiming that it has no links with any terror oufit in Pakistan n was constrained to impose ban on about 11 terror organisations associated with Jamaat Ul Dava, Jaish e Mohammed and Falah e Insaniyat terror organisations run by Masood Azhar and Hafiz Sayeed.

After imposing official ban on these terror organisations, involved in the terror activities in India and other parts of the globe, not only will their bank accounts be seized, there will be complete prohibition on any activities pertaining to their organisations.

But it remains to be seen whether the Pakistan government issues instructions for the arrests of their leaders involved in various types of disruptive activities and also conducts raids on the premises to confiscate their lethal weapons, illegal arms n ammunition n other objectionable materials.

This development in Pakistan is being seen as a huge diplomatic victory for India , especially after the Pulwama tragedy that witnessed 45 Army troopers having been martyred by Jaish E Mohammed terrorists hiding in Kashmir.

Since then the Indian government has used its diplomatic access and requested US, UK, France and China to pursue its case in UN Security Council to designate Masood Azhar as the UN global terrorist under the UNSC’s 1267 resolution.

But China had for the three consecutive times applied its VETO to keep Pakistan in good humour n turning down India’s request n efforts of US, UK n UK etc.

China had always been proving to be the greatest bottleneck despite the fact that the entire world community stood with India in solidarity.

However, after great diplomatic efforts and pressures from US, UK, France, Canada n other world countries, China had to finally relent and withdrew its VETO thus opening the door for Pak sponsored terrorist Azhar Masood to be included in the UN’s global terrorist list.

This results in the blocking all the bank accounts, ban on purchase of arms n ammunition, ban on movement within n outside the country and can be arrested forthwith, if traced. LET chief Hafiz Sayeed is already in the UN list under 1267 resoution of UNSC.
