Bollywood celebrities Raj Babber and Nagma campaign for Congress in Delhi. Kapil Sibal n Deputy CM Sachin Pilot too campaign for a party candidate

Today four senior leaders and a deputy chief minister extensively campaigned for the Congress candidate Jai Prakash Agrawal in various assembly segments of Chandni Chowk parliamentary constituency.

The day started with the deputy chief minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot undertaking Padyatras in Nabi Karim area of Chandni Chowk majorly dominated by the muslim population, the traditional Congress vote bank and the traders. Sachin Pilot alongwith Congress candidate Jai Prakash Agrawal met good number of electorates and requested them all to vote for the Congress candidate Agrawal who is not only a local resident but a four time MP having dedicatedly served them in the passed and carries behind him a reputation of a most vocal parliamentarian with a record as a person with impeccable integrity.

In a mammoth public meeting that followed after this padyatra at Shakurbasti, the president of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee and renowned Bollywood actor Raj Babber, Actress n Congress woman Nagma and Senior Congtess leader and Supreme Court advocate Kapil Sibal exhorted electorates to vote for Congress party and its capable candidate Jai Prakash Agrawal.

Addressing hundreds of thousands of people at Shakur Basti public meeting Raj Babar said Jai Prakash Agrawal had been the most vocal parliamentarian having a fantastic track record as a leader with impeccable integrity whose development works for the constituency speak too much about his calibre and dedication towards the electorates of the constituency.

He appealed the voters to vote for development and honesty and give a huge rebuff to the forces of opportunism, division, communalism n reaction. He added that Jai Prakash Agrawal is the best choice for them and they should vote for him on 12th of May by thronging to their respective polling booths. The senior Congress leader and former union minister Kapil Sibal appealed the voters of Shakurbasti to vote for Congress party enblock as it’s the only party that works for the over all welfare, welbeing and the develooment of the dalits, OBCs,the hapless and the economically deprived sections of the society.

He said: this is the right time to defeat the party of fake promises and anti people policies whose pledges on employment n upgradation of living standards of the poor n hapless has gone to the winds except promting crony capitalism and remitting the govt loans given to the riches of the rich corporates to the tune of 3.5 lakh crores which is the tax payers money of thepoor n middle class of the country.

The prominent actree Nagma appealed them to vote for Congress party candidate Agrawal and this is the right time to get rid of the Jumlebaz prime minister who’d literally done nothing fir the welfare n wellbeing of the poor.

Prior to the public meeting Agrawal undertook Padyatra and door to door programme at Pritampura and Kinari Bazaar area of Chandni Chowk where hubdreds of people following him raised pro Congress n pro JP Agrwal slogans. Rose petals were also showered on his entourage throught out his Padyatra that continued for four hours.
