Army operation in search of hiding terrorists in SHOPIAN villages in Kashmir

The India Army has started a massive search operation in Kashmir’s 13 villages of Shopian and its surrounding precincts to nab terrorists who are supposed to be hiding in these villages in the form of commoners.

The Army got intelligence intput in this regard and a massive search operation is on. As per the reliable information a good number of terrorists majority of them, the Pak supported home grown terrorists are hiding in Shopian village. While on the one hand the government has recently appointed an interlocutor to deliberate with various stake holders in the Kashmir vally to restore peace and tranquility in the region on the other hand the India Army has enhanced its operation to nab on the hard core terrorists who are hell bent upon disturbing peace in the region which is already strife torn.

Whenever there is any peace initiative or effort from the side of India government in Kashmir, Pakistan and its aided and abetted militants start creating havoc in Kashmir. While on the one hand the Pak sponsered terrorists have increased their attacks on Army camps in Kashmir during the last six months the cease fire violations and incessant firing at the LOC by Pak has also increased.

The India Army has badly demoralised the terrorists by killing and taking out 160 terrorists from their caves and is still behind them. The Indian Army’s operation search in 13 villages of Shopian in which several terrorists are into hiding is expected to bring fruitful results with Army expecting to nab several of them.

So far there have been no catch but the operation is on. Shopian district have been the main centre where terrorists are harboured. About three months ago the Army team was ambushed here killing several armymen. Several of the stone pelters also hail from these border villages who unitedly come out on the streets with stones when ever the army start its search operations in these villages.
