On Monday Samsung launched its Galaxy J5 Prime in India with price of Rs 14,790 but it will be available in the end of September. It is an upgraded version of Samsung Galaxy J5 with fingerprint sensor in the Home button.
In this upgraded version of Galaxy J5 major changes or upgrades are not done instead few minor changes are included like memory space has been expanded via micro SD card up to- to256 GB, whereas the older version of J5 had the capacity of 128 GB only. The battery size has also been smaller, at 2400 mAh whereas in J5 it was 3100 mAh.
It works on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with dual SIM capability which would obviously be Nano SIM. It has five inch screen with 720×1280 pixels HD display. It is loaded with 1.4 GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM. J5 prime is equipped with 13 megapixel camera with LED flash and 5 megapixel front camera.
The inbuilt storage of this phone is only 16GB and the micro SD card of up to 256 GB can be used in it. It has all latest connectivity like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and obviously 4G. The weight of this smartphone is 143 grams.
Samsung Company has included some new features like S Power planning which is a reserve battery technology for when the battery is draining out quickly and S secure feature which allows hiding selected apps and locking for the user of the phone.
Company would be providing 9GB Vodafone data for 3 months in the cost of 1GB internet data with new Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime.
