When I offered my services as the chief minister of Gujarat in the aftermath of the most devastating Kedarnath disaster to resurrect the historic Kedarnath Shrine ready to bear the entire expenses, I was allowed to do so by the then government of the Congress in the state and I felt highly blessed thinking that Baba Kedar has given me a privileged opportunity to serve him. I came out of the meeting with the then CM of the state blissfully and disclosed my intentions of resurrecting the damaged Kedarnath Temple and its precincts to the media present there.

Next day the newspapers were full of news mentioning that Gujarat CM will look after the entire resurrection and rehabilitation work of Kedarnath. The then central government of Congress got worried as now Modi will take the entire credit of this job and instructed the then chief minister Vijay Bahuguna, now in BJP, not to let Modi do this job. Hence a new statement appeared in news channels that the Congress governments are capable enough to do the needful n therefore there is no need for Modi to intervene in another state’s internal affair.

But see, Bhole Baba has ultimately showered his pivotal blessings on us and today BJP is in power at the centre as well as in Uttarakhand by the grace of all of you. Prime minister Narendra Modi made this disclosure today while addressing the party volunteers, pilgrims and the local residents at Kedarnath Dham where he was invited to seek Lord Kedar’s blessings on the closing of Kedarnath temple in view of the incoming winters’ when the whole temple and the valley is engulfed in snow. Last year prime minister Modi had come here on the ocassion of the opening of the Temple.

Pronouncing himself to be the ardent deciple of Lord Shiva, PM Modi said that the centre and state government are now launching an over ambitious project worth several crores for the over all facelifting of the damaged Kedarnath Shrine precincts during the ecological catastrophe of 2013. He revealed the plans for cinstruction of wider roads, well fecilitated houses for the pilgrims and purohits and hi tech lightening arrangements on 24×7 basis amid applauds from.the crowd. Addressing the audience in extempore hindi Modi pledged to rehabilitate each and every victim and family of the 2013 disaster and invited corporates under CSR to resurrect Kedarnath Dham with the latest technology and facilities in collaboration of the UK state government. Conveying his heartfelt tributes to all those died in this tragic catastrophe Prime minister Modi appealed one and all to protect the ecology of this Himalayan state by carrying out eco friendly development but not uttered a single word about the 36 thousand trees that will fall during the development and construction of the over ambitious all weather roads project in Uttarakhand with a total cost of Rs 12000 crores, inaugurated by him few minths ago in Dehradun.

He paid his respects to the people of Uttarakhand whose every 2nd family has a son or husband in Indian Army fighting the enemies valiantly on our porous borders and sacrificing their precious line of duty. He lauded the the succesful efforts of the UK government of completing its set target of constructing toilets and making Uttarakhand a self sufficed state with indoor toilets. He promised of fulfilling his pre election pledge of providing light connection in every house of the poor in Uttarakhand andother states and laudedhis government’s effort of delivering several crores free gas connections to the poor including in Uttarakhand to discourage deforestation and protect environment.

He thanked the Uttarakhand government for extending him the courtsey to visit Kedarnath and seek Bhole baba’s blessings. The governor of Uttarakhand Dr. K KPaul, the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat ministers Prakash Pant and Dhan Singh Rawat were on the dias, alongwith with the prime minister.

Prime minister Narendra Modi as every year after becoming the prime minister of the country for the last three and a half years would be celebrating the famous Hindu festival Deepawali with the Jawans of India army stationed at our borders safeguarding us and the nation and this time that’s on 19th October Narendra Modi will celebrate this festival of lights with Indian Army and paramilitary Jawans at the last border with China at Garhwal Uttarakhand at Neeti village few kilometres away from the popular n historic 1200 year old spiritual place Badrinath Dham.

Right now (in the afternoon) the Prime minister is at Gurez Sector in J n K and exchanging pleasentaries with Army Jawans with Diwali wishes. The prime minister will stay with Army n ITBP Jawan manning the Indo China border and celebrate diwali for an hour or so. He is visiting Kedarnath on 20th October to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings, this being his second Kedar visit in a row since the last year.

It may be recalled that last year the media had announced about PM Modi celebrating Diwali at Mana Gaon but the scheduled got changed at the last minute, may be due to security reasons and the former landed at Indian side of the Army camp at the Himachal Pradesh Indo China border to celebrate Deepawali with the Jawans.

It’s really very nice of the prime minister to have started this precedent to be with our dedicated and duty bound soldiers and officers of Indian Army and paramilitary forces on Diwali festival to boost their morale and confidence who miss their families on this important festival.

Prior to this the prime minister celebrated Diwali at the Jn K border where Pakistan is constantly firing on our posts and army camps repeatedly violating ceasefire agreements between both the countries. The weather at the last village of India viz Mana in District Chamoli, Garhwal remains at 2 degree celcius or even minus degree during the night when its hot in Delhi.

You might be aware that its here at Barahauti in district Chamoli that Chinese soldiers have twice breached the Indo China agreement and entered our boundary several kilometres inside after being physically asked to vacate.

The Chinese PLA also breached our air space through helicopter rides. Mana village posseses a high security related significance as its the oldest border village, an important source of moral and other kinds of support to the ITBP n Army Jawan n officers stationed there in extreme challenging circumstances and climatic conditions.

Prime minister Narendra Modi’s Gujarat allegiance and his love for Gujaraties is, these days being acknowleged in real actions in the form of rewards to the inhabitants of the state which he ruled as its Chief Minister for three times in succession and there can’t be the biggest reward ever, than an over ambitious project of worth 108 lakh crores in the form of an extremely hi tech bullet train from Ahmedabad to Mumbai with the financial and technical support of China’s bete noire and India’ s trusted friend Japan. This is not the first time that prime minister Modi has obliged the people of his state with such a precious gift but during his last year’s England sojourn/ tour he gifted the Gujraties with London to Ahmedabad Air India service, as well, that was long awaited.

Therefore, if we say that Gujarat, today is the luckiest state to have Narendra Modi as PM, would not be wrong or statement of over estimation. In addition to this, the Gujarat’s leading entrepreneur and an industrialist who also happens to be his friend and protagonist is also entering into the indeginous production of defence fighter plane with foreign collaboration “SAAB” of Swedan in the near future. There is not an inkling of doubt that though Narendra Modi is the prime minister of the whole country but his attention, allegience and concentration in the development of Gujarat is still on the anvil and in view of the fast approaching Gujarat election he does not want to loose any opportunity and chance to ensure the over all development of Gujarat.

That’s the reason that whether it was the visit of the Chinese president or the premier of Japan, including other heads of countries abroad, he never forgets to take them to his own state under the garb of visiting father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi’s land of birth, the state of Gujarat and his Sabarmati Ashram. Who does not know that after the completion of the highly prosperous Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet train project they’ll be primarily Gujarat and Mumbai who’ ll be largely benefitted by this Indo Japanese trade corridor, not the entire country. But prime minister Modi’ s efforts need to be complimented as even after shifting his power centre to Delhi after assuming the significant office of the Prime minister Gujarat and Gujraties are still his prime priority, the state and its affectionate people that helped and blessed him to be its chief minister for a long spell and later on the prime minister of the country by their resounding support.

Election bound Gujarat which happens to be Modi’s home state, in addition to the over-ambitious 108 lakh crore bullet train project will also benefit with Japanese financial and tecnological assistence. An agreement between Japan international coperation agency and the Gujarat maritime board for developing the Alang ship building board besides the establishment of two Industrial Parks have  also been signed between both the countries

In order to counter the One Road One Belt initiatives both India and Japan will also strive to enhance their international cooperation with Asia and Africa with special focus on developing infrastructural projects in which Japan will invest heavily.

What’ seems to be special about the whopping financial aid of 88000 crores to India in the bullet train project is that Japan would charge a negligible interest of merely 0.1% annually which has been highly appreciated by prime minister Modi while addressing a large gathering of people at the inauguration function of this long pending project in Gujarat today.
