The media celebrities these days, even if they are pro government or anti establishment are being used by interested parties in social networking sites like facebook and whatsapp to meet their political interests by implanting posters with interesting film dialogues sounding humorous and entertaining.

Such posters with humorous comments are very often posted in FB and thereafter made viral with the hope to derive maximum political mileage in favour of them and against the ruling BJP.

In the past there had been several such posters having been planted in social media site terming several outspoken journalists as the traitors as most of them worked for media channels not toeing the pro government line.

The NDTV senior anchor and journalist Ravish Kumar had been the most criticized scribe in the social media by his ardent opponents particulary the saffron party protagonists and followers accusing him as traitor followed by Punya Prasoon Joshi and Abhisaar.

In the English media the most eloquent, outspoken and fearless journalists and anchor Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai, Sagarika Ghosh, Prannoy Roy etc have been badly criticized and dubbed as traitors for there having never toed the pro establishment line but have preferrred to be impartial and dashing in doing their professional duties healthily thus criticizing the government policies but never relenting or surrendering in front of the powers that be.

These progressive and fearless top class journalists have always been at loggerheads with the politicians at the helm particularly of the ruling party for pursuing free, fearless anfd justifiable journalism since decades n never submitting to any duress n pressure.

Unfortunately, after 2014, since the BJP led opposition assumed power at the centre, the media houses have been divided as pro and anti ruling party and the social media has played a wider role in spreading such canards and rumours against journalists as pro and anti ruling party forgetting that fourth estate of the country is the most important pillar to run democracy in a free and fearless manner.

After the unceremonious exit of the three senior journalists from the ABP channel recently for their being outspoken and fearless, exposing the ruling party n the govt’s ills through their programmes such as MASTERSTROKE viz Milind Khandekar, Punya Prasoon Bajpayee and Abhisaar allegedly at the pressure of some high ups in the govt on the ABP management including the incessant courageous anti establishment posture of senior news anchor and journalist Ravish Kumar, the following posters are being circulated in social media which are not only humorous but also give the ousted scribes the certificate of being the honest journalists who, not saleable and who never surrender to the ruling party’s political dispensation and are therefore thrown out of jobs.

The poster shows the dialogue of Gabbar Singh, the villain of box office hit SHOLEY with the PM asking the Zee TV anchor supposed to be very soft toeing the ruling party line Sudheer Choudhary : KITNEY AADMI THEY with former replying Sardar teen with pictures of senior journalists : Punya Prasoon Vajpayee, Abhisaar and Ravish Kumar. The poster further shows with PM’s picture asking Sudhir that you were thirty but still you can’t counter them. ( TUM TEES AUR FIR BHI PUBLIC KO NAHI BHATKA SAKE) Humorous and ridiculous but carries a great meaning? What’s your take friend?
