PADMAVATI FILM IS 100% BASED ON TRUE HISTORICAL FACTS claims Rajat Sharma

Published

on

Prominent film maker and director Sanjay Leela Bansali’s MAGNUS OPUS Padmavati which is in tremendous controversy these days facing the threat of ban nationally by the KARNI SENA and its founder leader Lokendra Singh Kalvi who once slapped the former is a highly appreciable movie full of genuine historical facts which has in no way glorified the then king of 16th century but has instead proved him as a murderer who messacred hundreds of innocents.

Sanjay Bansali has in no way twisted any facts and denigrated the honour, dignity or respect of queen Padmavati but has instead glorified her image as a brave, dignified and a higly respectable queen faithful to her husband king Rattan Singh who always encouraged, guided and boosted his morale in the running of the administration of his kingdom and the wars he fought. These facts were revealed by the editor in chief India TV in his daily episode of Aaj Ki Baat, Rajat Sharma.

While disclosing the factual details of the movie today Rajat Sharma who himself saw the movie in a special preview said that, before watching the movie he too was under the impression that the nationwide uproar and outrage by the one sided critics of the film and KARNI SENA is absolutely correct as no opposition is ever based on false grounds.

But after watching the film extremely seriously, from all angles, as furiously opposed by a section of Rajput community, whose sentiments he respects, Sharma said he had come to a conclusion that there is nothing, not even a single percent of truth that the film’s director has in amy way fabricated, concocted or twisted the historical facts and exhibited queen Padmavati or her husband king Rattan Singh of Mewar in poor light, playing with their dignity, respect, aura, womenhood thus showing her in poor light as confidently claimed by those opposing the film tooth and nail.

Rajat Sharma said, he himself belonged to Chittaur and was born and brought up there and have tremendous respect and reverence for Rajput culture, tradition and sages of their bravery but after seeing the film sequences, had finally come to the conclusion that instead the movie Padmavati has enhanced the reputation, image, dignity, aura and grace of the historical queen who is remembered for her dignity, courage, bravery and sacrifice.

He confidently said that the people of MEWAR, the nation and especially those who are opposing it today so furiously calling Sanjay Leela Bhansali will feel proud of the bravery of MEWAR and its queen Padmavati for her acts of bravery and dignity which habe been portrayed so nicely and accurately as if history is being repeated on the silver screen.

He step by step revealed all the facts about the versions of those opposing the film and catagorically said that on every count they will find that all their objections are baseless and beyond facts. He said without seeing the movie casting such aspersions on the director of the film would ultimately not stand vindicated on the ground of facts.

It would have been better, had the opponents of the movie first watched the film and then raised the hue and cry than doing it first. The eminent literateur and veteran journalist Ved Pratap Vaidik too appreciated the film in toto and said that the director of the film Sanjay Leela Bansali has done full justice with the historical facts and have portrayed queen Padmavati as a higly dignified queen and Allauddin Khilji as a rash and ruthless killer.

Padmavati played by Deepti Padukone, Allauddin Khiljee played by Ranvir Singh and Raja Rattan Singh played by Kapoor have done full justice with their character who keep will definitely keep the audience stuck to their seats in theatres said Rajat Sharma.

It may be recalled that the KARNI SENA CHIEF Lokendra Singh Kalvi who calls himself as the directdecendent of the family of Raja Rattan Singh has been opposing the film Padmavati tooth and nail and had organised a huge public meeting and protest marches in Rajasthan and Gujarat recently in which more than a lakh people of Rajput community participated demanding permanent ban on the movie and registration of FIR against Bhansali on the charge of being a traitor/ anti nationalist. The Rajput women in traditional attires with sword in their hands were seen protesting outside the Mewar fort demanding Bhansali’s arrest etc.

The alleged controversy of the ongoing fued feud between the premier investigation agency of the country, Central Beaureu of Investigation and the current government of BJP led NDA took a new and interesting turn today when one of the senior IPS officers, the DIG Manish Kumar Sinha has made startling disclosures in the apex court regarding his all of a sudden transfer to Nagpur in order to pre strategically rid him of the investigation he had undertaken against the now exiled special director of the the CBI and the banking scam pertaining to Nirav Modi, Mehul Chouksi and others.

This startling revelation has given a new political twist and ammunition to the Congress party as well as the like minded opposition parties who’ve been firing salvos after salvos against the ruling party dispensation since the last few months especially after the emergence of Rafale, banking scam and the present controversy pertaining to the feud between the two top most officers of CBI, Alok Verma and Rakesh Asthana.

According to the news pouring in through various sources the DIG Manish Manish Kumar has petitioned in the apex court requesting for cancellation of his transfer orders allegedly terming them as arbitrary. The petitioner DIG Sinha had requested the Court to hear his plea alongwith the plea of former CBI director Alok Sinha who had also petitioned the court against his being send on forcible leave by the union government alongwith special director Rakesh Asthana with whom he was in the fued as both of them had traded charges of corruption against each other.

Meanwhile the former CBI director Alok Verma has also submitted his reply in the sealed envelope against the findings of the CVC to the apex court as directed the the court. During the hearing DIG Manish Kumar said to the court that he was conducting the investigations in the team of the former Director Alok Kumar in the cases alegedly pertaining to the former director Rakesh Asthana and the PNB scam of Nirav Modi.

2002 Gujarat riots: Supreme Court defers hearing on Zakia Jafri’s plea till Nov 26

Published

on

The Supreme Court on Monday deferred till November 26 hearing on the plea of Zakia Jafri challenging the clean chit given by the Special Investigating Team (SIT) to Narendra Modi, who was then Gujarat Chief Minister, in connection with the 2002 post-Godhra riots.

A bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar said, “The matter will take some time for hearing. The plea will be heard on November 26”.

The SIT objected to the petition stating that this matter had already been looked into by it and need to be given a quietus. It also objected to activist Teesta Setalvad, secretary of NGO – Citizen for Justice and Peace- joining the petition as one of the petitioners beside Jafri.

At the outset, senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi appearing for SIT said Zakia’s plea was not maintainable and social activist Teesta Seetalvad cannot be the second petitioner in the case.

The bench said it will look into the application before hearing the matter on making Seetalvad as the second petitioner in Jafri’s plea.

On February 8, 2012, the SIT filed a closure report, giving the clean chit to Modi and 63 others, including senior government officials, saying there was “no prosecutable evidence” against them.

Ehsan Jafri was among 68 people who were killed at the Gulberg Society in Ahmedabad when a mob attacked it on February 28, 2002, a day after the S-6 Coach of the Sabarmati Express returning from Ayodhya at Godhra was burned, triggering the riots in Gujarat.

Zakia, the wife of Ehsan Jafri, an ex-MP who was killed in one of the worst incidents during the riots, has challenged the Gujarat High Court’s October 5, 2017 order rejecting her plea against the SIT’s decision.

“The present Special Leave Petition is filed before this Court against the final judgement and order dated October 5, 2017 passed by the High Court of Gujarat…which erroneously upheld the order of the magistrate accepting the closure report filed by the Special Investigative Agency appointed by this Court concerning the violence in Gujarat in 2002,” said the plea of Zakia filed through advocate Aparna Bhat on November 13.

The plea further said the high court “failed to appreciate” the Petitioner’s complaint which was independent of the Gulberg Case registered at Meghaninagar Police Station.

Zakia sought an interim order to the SIT to carry out further investigation with regard to her complaint and the evidence provided by her before the magistrate through the protest petition.

“The allegations in the case were against various bureaucrats, police officers and political leaders. The issues brought forth reflected conspiracy, abetment and hate speech by the accused, which culminated in the violence in Gujarat,” the plea alleged.

It said that the high court order be set aside as “it failed to appreciate that the then chief minister and other prominent members of the political right wing made inflammatory speeches, the home department turned a blind eye towards various SIB reports for prosecuting certain VHP office bearers and publishing houses for propagating an incendiary rhetoric which would amount to an offence under IPC”.

“Whether the High Court failed to appreciate that senior police officers and members of bureaucracy were not reprimanded but rewarded for gross dereliction of duty and collaborating with the illegal plans of the CM/BJP during 2002 riots and afterwards?,” the plea charged.

The high court in its October 5, 2017, order had said that the SIT probe was monitored by the Supreme Court but had partly allowed Zakia’s petition as far as its demand of a further investigation was concerned.

It had said that petitioner can approach an appropriate forum including the magistrate’s court, a division bench of the high court or the Supreme Court seeking further investigation.

Setalvad is also a co-petitioner in the appeal seeking reversal of the Gujarat high court order.

Three of the family die after Santro falls in a river in Purola

Uttarakhand is destined for accidents. Not a single days passes when fatal accidents don’t occur here. While there are different reasons for these mishappenings, one can’t deny the fact that over speeding of vehicles, non vigilance or absense of alertness while driving, driving after intake of liquor, untrained drivers, pot holes on the roads, conversing on mobile phones and with co passengers sitting near the driver while driving, squeezed roads due to landsides, slippery roads during monsoons or in other seasons as well, no caution signs on blind turns or mental instability while driving are some of the basic vital reasons that lead to fatal accidents.

If we go by the yearly statistics the fact remains that fatal accidents have almost become the order of the day in Uttarakhand with the fatalities increasing day by day which is really an extremely disturbing trend. During the monsoons when landslides occur in various locations making the roads slippery, narrow and not prone for movement of heavy vehicles like buses n trucks, the spate of accidents enhance killing hundreds of people in different parts of the state with buses, jeeps, buleros and even trucks falling in deep gorges killing hundreds.

The past such accidents have been horrendous as the one happened last July on the Gairsain road killing about sixty persons when the overloaded bus fell in a gorge almost kilking all except a negligible few who were gravely injured.

But despite all this what is most disheartening is the fact that there in total non compliance from the government’s side to lessen or discourage these fatalities by improving the traffic system, adopting various ways and mean to ensure that the accidental fatalities in the hilly terrains come down considerably.

Unfortuntely in the absense of the vision oriented politicians at the helm of the system, things are going awry n becoming cumbersome for passengers who are constrained to travel in over filled busesin the absense of adequate bus services. Apart from these accidental fatalities killings by maneaters in various parts of Uttarakhand is also a common feature with the government doing literally nothing but becoming a mere spectator.

Meanwhile according to the latest news pouring in just today morning a Santro Car plying on the Nao gaon Purola Moter Road near Golnya Dangar, Syonli Chani heading towards Dehradun from Purola having the number UK 07 AL 1436 got uncontrolled and fell in Kamal river killing three persons on the spot.

Those killed have been identified as 27 year old Devendra Kumar of Purola Bazaar, 26 year old Nitin Rawat, and 62 year old Reena . All the three were from the same family and were travelling in Santro car.

All the three dead bodies have been sent for post mortom. Just a day ago a fatal accident had occured in Damta, Uttarakhand killing two persons on the spot.

Punjab CM constrained to abruptly call off his press conference due to red carpet controversy

The chief minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh was constrained to abruptly call off his press conference at 2.30 PM at the Nirankari Bhawan premises in Amritsar where a controversy erupted regarding the laying down of red carpet at the Nirankari Sant vicinity where yesterday two anti social elements in mask targetted the congregation throwing hand granades killing three persons on the spot and injuring about 20, some of them grievously.

The chief minister Punjab was to visit the congregation site where the unfortunate incident occured in order to asses the situation but after the red carpet placed in the vicinity for his supposed welcome raised a heated controversy in the media with opposition leaders of Akali Dal castigating him for allegedly acknowleging red carpet welcome at a time when the entire state is in the state of grief and shock after the brutal killing of three people and injuries to 20.

However, the officer looking after the arrangements denied the charge saying that they were not aware of the colour of the carpet and it was laid down to suppress the dust on the arrival of the CM’s cavalcade as it would have harmed the health of those attending the press conference including the mediamen.

However, after the eruption of the controversy highlighted on every television channel, not has the red carpet been changed with the green carpet but the chief minister was also constrained to call of his press conference as well as the visit at the tragedy site.

Meanwhile the chief minister Amrinder Singh who’d already announced the monetary compensation to the tune of Rs. five lakhs to each of the family of the deceased and some amount to the injured as well, the IG Police of Punjab has today declared the prize amount of Rs. 50 lakh to anyone giving clues about the accused of yesterday’s grenade attack at the Nirankari Sant Samagam in Amritsar.

The Home minister Rajnath Singh has also convened a high level meeting at his North Block office attended by senior police and IB officers to discuss the aftermath implications of the sitiation and to find ways and means to unearth the hand behind this unfortunate incident n nab the culprits at the earliest.

The National Investigating Agency is in Amritsar investigating the tragedy very minutely in order to nab the actual culprits behind this shameful incidents. Sources reveal that it’s the joint conspiracy of Pakistan sponsered hardcore terrorist organisation Jaishe Mohammad, LET and the Khalistani organisations having the support and blessing of ISI and various terror outfits active in Pakistan.

It may be recalled that in June 2016 a group of terrorists from across the border had stolen the car belonging to the Punjab Police and had barged into the Pathan Kot Air base killing seven soldiers. Similarly, the train massacre in Amritsar on the day of Vijay Dashmi killing 60 persons has also raised a storm against the Amrinder Singh government giving enough ammunition to his opponents especially the Akali Dal n BJP leaders to criticize him to the core.

Two Indian helicopters to stay in Maldives, says new Defence Minister Mariya Didi

Published

on

24 hours after new President of Maldives Ibrahim Mohamed Solih was sworn in, the new Defence Minister of Maldives, Mariya Didi, has said that Male won’t be returning back the two Indian helicopters which New Delhi had gifted.

Maldives under Abdulla Yameen, who was defeated by Solih September election, had asked India to withdraw two helicopters along with 50 military personnel this year.

Speaking to WION, Mariya Didi said, “It’s not in our culture to ask neighbours to take back what they give.”

One chopper is deployed in the Indian Ocean nation’s southernmost island of Addu and the other in the strategically-located Lammu.

The helicopters were gifted in 2013 by India on Maldives‘ request.

“The helicopters can be put to good use for medical evacuations and for search and rescue,” Mariya told WION, in her first interview to an Indian organisation after taking charge as the first female Defence Minister of the island nation.

Maldives’ former ambassador to India, Ahmed Mohamed had told news agency told Reuters that “They were very useful in the past but with the development of adequate infrastructure, facilities and resources we are now in a position to handle medical evacuations on our own.”

Yameen had junked pro India “India first policy” and increasingly aligned himself to China. Yameen’s predecessor Mohamed Nasheed had indicated that China was responsible for the development and told WION a few months ago that Yameen was under pressure from “external forces to remove these helicopters”.

Solih took oath as the new President of Maldives on Saturday in the presence of 17 foreign dignitaries and representatives from 46 countries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In his first address as the President, Solih said, “We will endeavour to fortify existing ties with India. Maldives will hereupon bolster its shared role to retain enduring peace and harmony of the Indian Ocean.”

In his 100 days goals, Solih has said, he will “endeavour to fortify the existing ties the Maldives has had with India.”

India was the only country invited at the Head of State/Government level at the presidential oath-taking ceremony and PM Modi was the first foreign leader Solih metafter being sworn in as President.

Both Maldives and India also issued a joint statement calling to strengthen ties and ease visa regime. The new Maldivian Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid will be visiting India on November 26.

India seeks to buy 24 anti-submarine helicopters MH-60 ‘Romeo’ from US

Published

on

India has sought from the US 24 multi-role MH-60 ‘Romeo’ anti-submarine helicopters for its Navy at an estimated cost of US $2 billion, defence industry sources here said Friday.

India has been in need of these formidable anti-submarine hunter helicopters for more than a decade now.

The deal is expected to be finalised in a few months, informed sources told PTI, days after US Vice President Mike Pence held a successful meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Singapore on the sidelines of a regional summit.

India has sent a letter of request to the US for an “urgent requirement” of 24 multi-role helicopters MH 60 Romeo Seahawk, sources said.

In recent months, there has been acceleration in defence ties between the two countries, with the Trump administration opening up America’s high-tech military hardware for India’s defence needs.

Bilateral defence relationship was on top of the agenda of the Modi-Pence meeting in Singapore on Wednesday.

The meeting is likely to be followed by a summit-level bilateral between Prime Minister Modi and US President Donald Trump in Argentina on the sidelines of the G-20 meeting on November 30 and December 1. Neither side has confirmed the meeting yet.

According to sources, the MH-60 Romeo deal is expected to have an offset requirement. Sources indicated that India plans to follow up this urgent requirement with a long-term plan to manufacture 123 of these helicopters in India.

Currently deployed with the US Navy as the primary anti-submarine warfare anti-surface weapon system for open ocean and littoral zones, Lockheed Martin’s MH-60R Seahawk helicopter is considered the world’s most advanced maritime helicopter.

According to industry experts, it is the most capable naval helicopter available today designed to operate from frigates, destroyers, cruisers and aircraft carriers. MH-60 Romeo Seahawks would add lethal capabilities of the Indian Navy, which experts say is the need of the hour given the aggressive behavior of China in the Indian Ocean region.

Lockheed over the years has emerged as a major American supplier of state-of-the-art defence military equipment.

“With this Seahawk deal the overall US-India defense trade will surpass USD 20 billion,” an industry source said.

“The pipeline of opportunities for US defense firms can result in another USD 5 billion of sales in the next few years,” the source added.

According to US Naval Air System Command, the MH-60R Seahawk missions are anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, surveillance, communications relay, combat search and rescue, naval gunfire support and logistics support.

As the Navy’s next generation submarine hunter and anti-surface warfare helicopter, the MH-60R Seahawk is considered to be the cornerstone of the Navy’s Helicopter Concept of Operations.

The MH-60R and its mission systems have replaced the US naval fleet’s legacy SH-60B and SH-60F aircraft.

PM Narendra Modi To Inaugurate KMP Expressway On November 19

Published

To ease traffic flow through the national capital, the much awaited Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway is all set to be inaugurated on November 19. The announcement has been made by Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and it will be done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Manohar Lal Khattar who reviewed the KMP Expressway project and the arrangements regarding the Prime Minister’s visit to Sultanpur village in Gurugram on November 19 said, “The prime minister will address a public meeting near Farukhnagar crossing in Gurgaon, where he would dedicate various projects to the people of the state. All the preparations are done for the inauguration,”

“Apart from the expressway, he will also inaugurate the Ballabhgarh Metro Link, lay foundation stone of Haryana Vishwakarma Skill University in Palwal and various other development projects on the same day,” Khattar added.

Talking about the expressway, it will connect four major national highways (NH), NH-1 (Delhi-Ambala-Amritsar), NH-2 (Delhi-Agra-Varanasi-Dankuni), NH-8 (Delhi-Jaipur-Ahmedabad-Mumbai) and NH-10 (Delhi-Hisar-Fazilka-Indo-Pak border), as it passes through five districts in Haryana namely Sonipat, Jhajjar, Gurgaon, Mewat, and Palwal.

The expressway will also significantly reduce the traffic from north Indian states to central, western and south India and vice versa. Also, it will provide an alternative route to vehicles, especially heavy ones to go towards Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan without creating traffic vows in the national capital.

Recently, the Haryana Government has also given its approval for the development of five new cities along Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressway. These cities will be developed in an area of 50,000 hectares on each side of the 135 km long expressway and will cover eight districts of the state — Sonipat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Rewari, Mewat, Faridabad, and Palwal.

Hapless martyr’s family in financial jeopardy. Has not received a single pie as compensation since last three months ?

Published

on

Mother of late Rajesh Punia holding her sons pic, late Puniya's brother with social activist Santosh Dahiya, broken door of Puniya's dilaphidated house

It really disheartens one and all when the traumatic and highly grief stricken poor and hapless families of our valiant soldiers who lay down their precious lives in the service of the nation protecting our porous borders and fighting the enemy at the LOC and strife torn J& K with valour are made to suffer for of adequate financial compensation that is officially due to them including government job to the next of the kin of the families of the deceased.

Hundreds of young jawans and officers of Indian Army and security forces fighting against all odds and highly challenging situations in Jammu and Kashmir and along the Line of Actual Control fight the Pak rangers and the hardcore terrorists hell bent upon destabilising our system killing innocents n armymen and sacrifice themselves with valour.

The entire nation salutes them because its only due to their 24×7 vigilance and alert duties against all odds, at the LOC that 125 crore Indians are safe and sound but when it comes to government’s alleged apathy towards the already traumatic and anguished families who run from pillar to posts seeking justice and adequate financial compensation actually due to them officially they get no justice n compelled to resign at their fate.

The fact of the matter is that majority of those martyred young jawans belong to extremely poor family backgrounds and after their sad demise the family loses the single earning member who was the sole bread earner for the entire grif stricken family.

The pathetic story of one such young jawan of the India Army namely Rajesh Punia of village Ladwa was yesterday posted by a social activist of Haryana namely Santosh Dahiya who recorded the family’s anguished story in her live facebook time line.

Rajesh Puniya was hardly 26 or so and was on the line of duty at the LOC in J&K. About three months ago his decapitated body was found while fighting the terrorists/ Pak rangers at the LOC valiantly.

After his sad demise the ministers of Haryana government, the local MLA Krishna Kumar and several high ups in the government visited his house and assured the grief stricken poor and hapless family of all possible help including Rs. 50 lakhs as financial compensation, a job to his elder brother and construction of a park with a budget of Rs 80 lakhs in the nearby vicinity in the name of Martyr Rajesh Puniya.

But after the lapse of more than three months not a single rupee has arrived at the Martyrs anguished family’s gouse. The father of late Rajesh Puniya who is usually in bad health whom his late son had assured of the best private treatment if he comes back alive, was also assured by the minister concerned of best possible treatment in the private hospital, but all in vain.

Late Rajesh Puniya was the only earning member of the family. The family lives in village Ladwa, Haryana in a dilapidated house with shattered entry door and uncemented brick walls with animals and the family living together in a pitiable civic n financial condition.

According to the social activist Santosh Dahiya, when they approached the Commissioner at Kaithal they were told that the enquiry is still in progress and may take time. She questions: if such is the ignorant, pathetic and complacent attitude of the ministers, MLAs and bureaucrats towards the martyrs of our country who die for the nation in the line of duty then the government has not right to exist.

She says: its shocking and ironical that these politicians visit the houses of martyrs and give false promises but when it comes to fulfilling them they vanish out of the scene and this is shockingly what’s happening with the traumatic poor and hapless family of martyr Rajesh Puniya of Laadwa, Haryana. Shameful indeed.

It may be recalled that about 450 jawans of Indian Army and security forces have laid down their precious lives in J&K n LOC during the last four and a half years and about 530 jawans n officers (approximately) were martyred during the Kargil war of 1999 called Operation Vijay. We salute them all for their glorious sacrifices. The government had then devised a policy of adequately compensating the martrs famiky and also alloting them a petrol pump. Can’t the same criteria be now followed and the poor and hapless families be allotted petrol pumps for their survival.
What’s your take friends?
