The 22nd Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan sworn in on 18th August has a very interesting and controvertial past.

The former Pakistani skipper having brought the world cup in cricket played his first international test against England at the age of mere 18 years. Now 65, having married a woman with five chldren finding her to be lucky the Pakistan PM n Tehrike Insaf chief has a very controvertial past with several love affairs and three marriages having divorced two finally marrying the third spiritual woman, a mother of five. Sounds interesting.

A tall handsome cricketer having toured the entire world, Imran Khan is an Oxford educated as was the Kaide Azam of Pakistan Mohammed Ali Jinnah a muslim with western background in education and style.

Had a politician in the country like India been involved in so many love affairs and marital tie ups and subsequent divorces including dalliance with one of the foreign woman giving birth to a daughter, nobody can even in dreams think of him becoming the prime minister, but its really surprising that Imran was accepted whle heartedly in Pakistan with open arms though after two decades, defeating his seasoned political rivals hand down as the undisuted prime minister.

While the captain of Pakistan cricket team Imran was allegedly found entangled in love affair with an indian actress during the eighties when he visited India with test match with India, there were lot of rumours about Imran’s love affair with Zeenat Aman which hit newspapers head lines.

It’s was the open talk in the media circles that handsome Imran always attracted girls through out his cricketing career.

The biographer Christopher Stanford in the book REHAM KHAN , about formerly BBC journalist and Imran’s divorced wife, who spewed lots of venom against her ex husband during the elections branding him as the SHADION KA KHILADI, ( the master of marriages) revealed about the love affair of the former Pakistan PM Benazir Bhutto with handsome Imran Khan when both of them studied in Oxford in London.

The book says: Benazir fall in love with Khan and was interested to marry her. However, Imran’s mother refused to make Benazir her daughter in law despite her son’s hearty wishes.

Since Imran loved his mother tremendously he had no option but to withdraw from the relationship. On the other hand despite nt being able to marry him Benazir Bhutto was so impressed by Imran’s personality that she gave him the title of the Lion of Pakistan.

Thereafter, in 1995, three years after leading Pakistan to the World Cup crown, Imran married Jemima Goldsmith, a 21-year-old British heiress. Jemima converted to Islam and moved to Pakistan. Nine faithful years and two sons later, they parted way

Imran is rumoured to have married the 41-year-old mother of three after divorcing Jemima. She worked with the BBC as a weather correspondent and presenter on a regional news programme. This marriage too could not survive for long and Imram divorced Reham Khan.

Today, Reham Khan is the arch rival of Imran appearing on television interviews criticizing the former skipper and now PM of Pakistan to the fullest.

Imran’s dalliance with the heiress in the 1990s ended in a bitter court battle and a genetic determination of paternity. The heirless is noneother but Sita White who died after some time. The court ruled that Imran was indeed the father of Tyrian, White’s daughter. Imran first vehemently denied the judgment, then accepted that he had indeed sired Tyrian.

The reason behind the divorce of Jemina Gildsmith was primarily the illegal affair of Imran with Sita White and having an illegitimate daughter Tyran, without marriage, whom Imran accepted after the court’s orders.
Imran finally married a veiled spiritual woman, mother of five, considering her to lucky in his political ascendence, this year namely Begum Bushra.

After his controvertial past of repeated marriages and divorces Imran Khan who was already in politics side by side dedicated his entire time in strengthening Tehrike Insaf Party which he had himself founded.

He started gainng momentum slowly but steadily enticing suport amongst the youth and women finally finding himself string enough to fight thenational election formidably.

He was arrested and house arrested number of times but Imran kept his hismorals high as a politician and never accepted the moral defeat. He confronted various odds but finally made it. Today he is the 22 nd prime minister of Pakistan, the dream he cherished since beginning.
