The Yet-To-Be Announced 12 Year Old Politician of India

Herein, we bring to our readers the tale of a 12 year old son Jeet Athawale of the politician Ramdas Athawale.

Ramdas Athawale is the founder of the Republican Party of India working primarily in the regions of Maharashtra currently. The Republican Party of India (Athawale) or RPI (A) is an NDA ally wielding over the sufferings of Dalit population in Maharashtra. Currently, the RPI (A) does not have any representative in the state legislative assembly. Catering to the Dalit issues, this party aims at securing vote from the Dalit population. Apart from this, Ramdas Athawale recently made headlines when he demanded the intervention of the US in the Kulbushan Jadhav’s case.

The Minister of State for Social Justice recently made an important announcement wherein he proposed to launch a Children Wing in the RPI (A) led by a school going child of 12 years, his son Jeet Athawale. At Chembur, a suburban region of Maharashtra, Ramdas Athawale made this important announcement. The young child also announced other leaders of the Children Wing constituting of young children only.

The party is yet to announce the Children Wing officially. Therefore, the functions carried out by this Wing and the issues taken up by these young leaders are unknown.

It is to note that seven years ago, the Shiv Sena appointed Aaditya Thackeray as the youth leader who heads the youth wing of the party.

Well! The result of this transition is awaited. It will be interesting to know about the reactions of the other political parties once Ramdas Athawale makes an official announcement about the Children Wing which is led by his twelve year old son. Apart from this, there is an eager wait for the actions of this Children Wing and efforts of the child leader. It will be fascinating to find whether the youngster Jeet Athawale is genuinely interested in politics and really wants to serve the nation.
