China has warned India not to make any issues at the border because China is afraid after the visit of spiritual leader Karmapa who visited Arunachal Pradesh last week. China has expressed that and hoped that India will not take any action that might create any complications at the boundary dispute.
China claims Arunachal Pradesh as a part of Tibet and this is a disputed area according to them and now China is afraid just from the visit of 17th Gyalwang Karmapa.
China’s foreign ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said that they are clear about their position on the East section of the China and India border and they hope that India can abide by relevant consensus and refrain from any action that might complicate the boundary issue.
He further said that to ensure the peace and stability of the border areas and sound stable development of the bilateral relationship serves the common interest of the two sides.
He also confirmed that China and India are in constant communication on this matter and India is clear about the solemn position when it comes to boundary question.
The 17th Karampa visited West Kemeng district and preached Tibetans at Gyuto Monatery at Tenzingang before living for Kalaktang.
This time Union Minister and Home Minister Kiren Rijiju had thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for removing away the restrictions imposed in the previous era and for facilitating Karampa’s visit to any part of the country and elsewhere.
China has always been opposing whenever any spiritual leader is given permission to visit and preach in Arunachal Pradesh like in October India permitted Dalai Lama to visit Arunachal Pradesh and at that time also China was quite unhappy.
China regards Karampa as separatist and a politician in the garb of religious leader but still it has not made any direct criticism of the visit.
